The Birth of Sky D’Mont Suites
With the love and passion for travelling, we have been searching for idyllic vacation suites where we could hang out as couple or with family or a small group of close friends within an hour drive from the hustle bustle of Kuala Lumpur city centre.
To us an ideal impromptu short getaway would be having a heated pool to soak in with cooling weather around 20 degree celsius or below, serene, tranquil and relaxing surrounding and a relatively short drive from home. Instead of looking for one, we have decided to create such experience with the birth of Sky D’Mont Suites.
Sky D’Mont Suites is prestigiously located at the top of Genting Highlands which is 6,000 feet above sea level and nestled within the Titiwangsa Mountain Range. With comfortable and cooling weather of around 18-22 degree celsius all year long. It is only 55km (around an hour drive) from Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
Our suites are situated less than 3km away from the famous Sky Avenue, First World Plaza and the soon to be open outdoor theme park. Free shuttle buses are available from the suites to and fro Sky Avenue every hourly.
All suites are either 1 bedroom units or Premium 1 bedroom units. Each 1 bedroom unit equips with a queen size bed in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room which can accommodate either 2 young children or 1 adult and an extra single mattress is available upon request with an additional charge per night. Each Premium Suite comes with a queen size bed in the bedroom, 2 premium sofa beds in the living room which accommodate 2 children and 1 adult or 2 adults comfortably. A hair dryer, iron, ironing board and safety box are placed in every bedroom.
There are 2 LCD TVs in each suites placed in the living room and the bedroom with independent control to a wide range of international and local TV and Radio channels. Complimentary high-speed Wifi is also provided in every unit.
Every unit has an attached toilet and bathroom provided with towels and basic toiletries i.e. body shower gel, shampoo and hand soup. Most of all, every unit comes with a balcony facing the magnificent and breathtaking mountain view with peaceful surrounding to rejuvenate the mind and body. There is also a kitchenette in every unit which provides the Coway water purifier with hot, cold and room temperature water dispenser. Also, there is a Free mini bar in every unit filled with breakfast cereals, UHT milk, instant cup noodles, 3 in 1 hot drink sachets and a variety of snacks. Though cooking is not allowed in the suite, we do provide a microwave oven with grill and a rice cooker in every suite for reheating of pre-cooked food. Besides, a mini fridge, kitchenwares, cutleries and 2 in 1 washer and dryer are also provided in each unit.
Within the building, there are indoor heated pools, sauna, gym and children playroom available for guests with no additional charge. There are a few restaurants serving International, Asian (Local) and Mediterranean cuisines. There are also a cafe and a 24 hours convenient store at the Ground Floor.
